Head coaches are required to attend all practice sessions and games or have a designated substitute that has been approved by the MYF executive board.


All volunteers, who are working in an official capacity, for the MYF (manager, coach, assistant, team mom, etc) must be approved in advance by the MYF executive board and must agree to adhere to all applicable rules.

 

Six Rivers Youth Football requires that all volunteers working in an official capacity submits to an annual background check.  In the event the background check indicates a past indiscretion, the applicant will be notified and will have the opportunity to address the MYF executive board to clarify the circumstances of the indiscretion.

 

The primary responsibility of MYF and its executive board is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of its participants and to ensure that all participants have a memorable and positive experience while playing football. Therefore, the MYF executive board may reject the application of any individual for any reason deemed necessary to comply with this responsibility. Each applicant denied the opportunity to volunteer may appeal to the MYF executive board.

 

Please also note that the MYF may receive more applications than there are teams in a division. Therefore, not all approved applicants will be appointed to a team.
