DC Belltower - Volunteer Sign Up
From May 19th-31st, Veterans For Peace will display the 24-foot high Swords To Plowshares Belltower Memorial, near the Lincoln Memorial in Washington D.C. within sight of the Vietnam Wall. We need volunteers to assist with set-up and break-down on May 19th and 31st. We also need volunteers to help throughout the week, both daytime and nighttime shifts are available. Day shifts will be broken down into 4 hours shifts. Day shifts available are 8am-12pm, 12pm-4pm, and 4pm-8pm. Please note all days and times that you are available to work, and we will reach out to you directly let you know when you are needed. Thank you.
Can you work any night shifts from May 19th-May 30th? *
Night shifts will be broken down into one 4 hours and two 8 hours shifts. Night shifts are broken down: 8pm-12am (4 hours), 10pm-6am (8 hours), 12am-8am (8 hours).  Volunteers will be paired up, large tent and lawn recliners will be provided, but no "bedding" is allowed.  One person should be wakeful at all times. This is our most critical volunteer need. Please note all nights and times that you are available to work, and we will reach out to you directly let you know when you are needed. Thank you.
