Finch 2.0 and Hummingbird Bit Training (Appropriate for teachers of grades 6-12 of any subject, administrators, STEM and STEAM teachers, CS teachers, or any educator interested in computer science and robotics. No prior experience or knowledge necessary.)

Join Kelsey Derringer from BirdBrain Technologies for a full day of creative robotics using the all new Finch Robot 2.0 and the innovative Hummingbird Robotics kit! Participants will use tablets to work with Finch 2.0 in the morning, using block-based programming appropriate for middle-high school learners. In the afternoon, participants will switch to using Hummingbird Robotics Kits with laptops/Chromebooks, still using block-based programming, to design and build content-connected projects like Robot Poetry, Muscles and Bones, and Robot Petting Zoo. See all the new capabilities of Finch 2.0 and Hummingbird Bit, and gain experience with coding, building, and cross-curricular computer science and STEM education. Tablets will be provided for morning session. Please bring a laptop or Chromebook with a USB port. (If you do not have one, we can provide one for you.) Free, eligible for ACT 48 credits, and we’ll provide lunch.
