Parental Permissions: May we text your youth for evangelization and outreach, also to provide Edge/Lifeteen (CCD) information? Numbers and names of those texting will be Catechist/Core Members who are trained and diocese certified in Safe Environment *
May we take photos of your youth for bulletin and website during the religious education sessions? Youth names will not be used and it will be photos of teachings, prayer times, games, etc. during the sessions that have youth involvement *
May we take videos of your youth during sessions? Videos may be used for streaming clips of sessions, which include teachings, prayer experiences, small group activities. Will be used on St. Edward facebook page and certain apps, such as: Instagram & Vine. No names will be presented *
May we take photos & videos during retreats? These may be used for powerpoint presentations for parish to witness the ministry, also may be used for promotion of future retreats. Photos and videos can also be used for St. Edward's facebook page and parish website *
The Diocese of Lafayette requires that all children in Grades 1-11 in our Religious Education Programs and Catholic Schools be provided the opportunity to participate in Safe Environment Education sessions relating to child abuse, including, but not limited to, strategies on how to protect themselves and what to do if something does happen. This video is mandatory and must be shown yearly. Do you give permission for your child to view this video on the first day/night of religion? *
These outreach tools will be used to enhance the ministry and outreach for our Youth and will not be sold or used to promote any other activities. For program purposes only.
