About the Speaker: Anita Baird, DHM
Sr. Anita Baird has been nationally recognized for religious & community activism for her work in racial justice. She was the first African American to serve as Chief of Staff to the Archbishop of Chicago and was the founding director of the Office for Racial Justice in the Archdiocese. She has served as the president of the National Black Sisters' Conference and is presently on the Board of Directors.
