Western Wilds Setting Poll
Let's crowd-source it! Your collective input here will directly inform the development of our campaign setting.

Answer as many or as few of these questions as you like. if you stall out, just skip the question and move on to the next one.

Technologically, the world is roughly analogous to our own, circa the 12th century. Gods, demons, and magic are real.

Many centuries ago, the Western Wilds were home to the ancestors of the present-day dominant civilization. A great Cataclysm decimated the people and laid waste to the area, driving the survivors eastward into safer climes. The survivors, carrying little with them but memories, were forced to start anew.

For generations the Wilds remained enigmatic and shunned, but recently a settlement has been established at their near edge. For the first time since the Cataclysm, people are daring the dangers of the Wilds in search of the wonders they are rumored to hold.

On a scale of high fantasy to grimdark, What is your preferred tone for this campaign? 1 = the Brothers Hildebrandt; 3 = Pieter Bruegel the Elder; 5 = skulls skulls skulls.
