1. Chabura for 4-6 grades girls will continue with Mrs. Lisa Cook. Lisa will continue with 48 Ways to Wisdom, Pirkei Avos 6:6. It will be based on the teachings of Rav Noach Weinberg, zt"l.
2. Intramural basketball – Led by Coach Jazz, will be a Hillel basketball league (we will not play other schools). There will be a draft and after a few weeks of skill building, games will be played in a round-robin format. Coach Butler will assist with this league and help the rookie players.
3. 7/8 Chabura - Led by Mrs. Rebecca Pollack, will focus on both text based lessons and in depth thought provoking discussion.
4. Arts and Crafts - Led by Mrs. Yael Henteleff, will make various projects throughout the semester. This semester Yael hopes to teach more skills relating to using an exacto knife and creating cut-outs. She will introduce the use of pastels (chalky substance). Additionally, she will focus on graphic design techniques using textures and patterns versus free hand art.
5. Assemble - Do you love to make things? Inventions? Fashion? Video Games? Join ASSEMBLE for an after school program focused on making things! We will be exploring science, technology and art. 6. Drama Club - Hillel Academy Drama Club - led by Ms. Stephanie Wontrop, will offer girls in grades 5-8 an opportunity to participate in supervised creative dramatic activities, and ultimately will prepare students to perform in the GHS Production this spring. Drama Club will offer training in drama, choir, and theater, and will work on creative thinking skills, encourage teamwork, and provide students with enriched learning experiences in the area of performing arts.
