Thank you for your interest in participating in the summer formation program of the St. Francis Xavier Lay Missionary Society.  The formation program will take place in the San Francisco Bay Area with some presentations taught online.

Admissions will be considered on a rolling basis.  A select number of openings are available for those who are applying just for the formation program to maintain a small class size.  Consideration will be given to those applicants who we feel will best suit the formative needs of our prospective lay missionaries.

The suggested offering is $1500 for the entire summer, which includes a selection of theology, pastoral, and cultural classes (except for foreign language*), community service outings, breakfast and lunch.  This is a very special rate and additional donations are welcome to help support the lay missionaries in the formation program.  Partial scholarships are available based on demonstrated financial need and ministry potential.

If you cannot commit to the full summer program, but would like to attend select portions of the program, we still invite you to apply.  Please state your expected availability.  Thank you.
