˚ʚ♡ɞ˚ WHO IS SIGMA PSI ZETA? ˚ʚ♡ɞ˚
Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. is a progressive, multicultural Greek organization with more than 30 memberships across the United States. Sigma Psi Zeta, also known as Sigmas or SYZ, was formally established on March 23, 1994, at the University at Albany by our 10 outstanding Founding Mothers. They believed in celebrating the foundational things we have in common as well as our unique cultural backgrounds and individual experiences, something that every Sigma embodies. We uphold the motto: "Lead from the Front", meaning that our members are recognized not only as leaders but as womxn who are willing to be the first. We provide a means for young womxn, particularly womxn of color, to grow and develop well-rounded skills and ambitions for all of their present and future endeavors.

✰ OUR PHILANTHROPY ✰
Our national philanthropy is to combat violence against womxn in its varied forms. This includes, but is not limited to: r*pe, incest, domestic violence, s*xual assault, stalking, exploitation, the trafficking of womxn and children, the abuse of migrant workers, intimidation at work, child abuse, harassment, and spousal abuse. Any kind of physical, emotional, or mental duress constitutes violence. Sigma Psi Zeta is proud to be an official partner of “It's On Us”, the White House initiative to end s*xual assault on college campuses.

All events are free and optional with NO obligation to join at the end of the recruitment period!
