NEW YORK, NY - Shamel Kelly, the Brooklyn bar owner who has become a part of the federal corruption investigation into New York Mayor Eric Adams after he was shaken down by a Mayor’s Office official and the brother of former New York police commissioner Edward Caban, will join his attorneys for a news conference tomorrow (Tuesday, October 1) at 11:00 AM in front of City Hall (City Hall Park, New York, NY) to discuss his corruption allegations and upcoming lawsuit.
Kelly is represented by renowned national civil rights attorney Harry Daniels and Bernarda Villalona both of whom will speak at Tuesday’s news conference along with Kelly.
Kelly’s allegations are only the latest chapter in the ongoing corruption scandal that erupted last week with the federal indictment of Mayor Adams on bribery, campaign finance and conspiracy offenses.
