Please be advised your academic information will be verified and corrected by Greek Affairs as needed during the processing of your application in order that your application reflects most accurately your final high school transcript and/or your most recent college transcript.
ACADEMIC RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN RECRUITMENT
The recommended minimum cumulative GPA to participate in Recruitment is a 3.0 high school GPA or a 2.5 college GPA. Grades are an important factor in the selection process. Each chapter has minimum grade point expectations for new and continuing members. If your GPA is below these levels, you are making an informed decision to participate in the recruitment process and are aware that your deficient GPA may substantially limit or in some cases eliminate your opportunities for membership in a K-State sorority. You should also note that meeting or exceeding the recommended GPA is not a guarantee or offer of membership.
All recruitment participants including all returning members, advisors, and Greek Affairs staff agree to abide by all aspects of the K-State Panhellenic and Interfraternity Council Anti-Hazing Policy. This policy can be found at www.k-state.edu/greek/policies/documents/anti_hazing.pdf
ACADEMIC INFORMATION RELEASE AGREEMENT By submitting your application, you agree to allow the Panhellenic Council to release your registration's academic information to K-State sororities and their representatives. Upon joining a chapter, you agree to allow the continued release of your academic information (grades) to the sorority to which you affiliate for use in scholarship reporting and research. You additionally grant the K-State Panhellenic Council and Greek Affairs staff access to your academic information on file with K-State Admissions and Registrar in order that your application may be verified. Should you cease to be a member, you agree to notify the K-State Greek Affairs office immediately in order to cease the continued and approved release of your grade information.
DISCLAIMER Registration for and participation in K-State Panhellenic Sorority Recruitment is not an offer nor a guarantee of membership. Membership selection is at the sole discretion of each sorority and its members and is not influenced or controlled by the K-State Panhellenic Council or K-State Greek Affairs.
