NACCE 2024 Innovation in the Heartland

Join the Community of Entrepreneurial Leaders and Innovators

The NACCE (National Association for Community College Entrepreneurship) community of entrepreneurial leaders and practitioners is preparing for our annual conference, where we come together to celebrate the entrepreneurial mindset and foster innovative action. For our upcoming NACCE 2024 Conference, we invite you to be part of exchanging best practices, experiences, and lessons from both successes and setbacks.

Our conference offers three distinct tracks, each catering to a diverse audience, including workforce education professionals, fundraising experts, champions of student engagement, advocates for veterans, and visionary leaders. All proposals should align with NACCE's mission, emphasizing Engagement, Mindset, and Innovative Action as the cornerstones of success.

Track 1: Engage--Unlocking the Power of Engagement

In the Engage Track, we delve into the myriad ways organizations, colleges, and foundations engage with their credit and non-credit faculty, staff, students, and community stakeholders to achieve their goals. Our sessions provide invaluable insights and practical strategies for fostering success through engagement. Topics explored in this track include:

* Developing a culture of engagement

* Effective communication strategies

* Creating a sense of purpose

* Fostering a sense of belonging

* Leveraging technology for enhanced engagement

* The role of leadership in cultivating an engaged culture

* Corporate social responsibility and community outreach

* The contribution of community colleges to addressing societal and environmental challenges

Track 2: Mindset--Inspiring Change through Impact Talks

In the Mindset Track, we aim to inspire and ignite change through our unique "Impact Talks." Using the engaging format of a TedTalk, presenters are encouraged to share inspiring stories of personal impact or community transformation in 10-minute sessions. This track is ideal for those who want to inspire and make a difference but may prefer the brevity of a shorter presentation. Topics may revolve around:

* Student achievement and success stories

* Creative problem-solving experiences

* Building unlikely alliances for innovative outcomes

Please note that there are only a limited number of slots available for Impact Talks. Early applications are encouraged to secure one of the 20 spots.

Track 3: Innovative Action --Transforming Ideas into Action

The Innovative Action Track is your gateway to exploring and demonstrating the latest trends and best practices in innovation, offering actionable strategies to bring innovative ideas to life. This track equips attendees with the tools and insights needed to turn inspiration into tangible action.

This track may cover topics such as:

* creating a culture of innovation,

* fostering creativity, and generating new ideas

* how to effectively brainstorm, prioritize and evaluate ideas, and how to turn those ideas into actionable plans

* empathy, prototyping, and effectuation.

Join us at the NACCE 2024 Conference to connect with a thriving community of entrepreneurial leaders, share your expertise, and contribute to the growth of innovation in the heartland. Submit your proposal and be part of this dynamic and transformative event.
