This form is to express interest in your child attending the 1st-8th Grade Heartland Dual Team Qualifier.
-This qualifier tournament is the sole method for earning a spot on the NEUSAW Heartland Girls (1st-8th grade) National Dual Team
-The weight class entered for the Qualifier will be the required weight class for the Heartland National Dual Team event. No changes will be permitted after qualification.
-This is the first year the National Dual Team will be decided by a dedicated Qualifier Tournament. Previous methods (state tournament results, coach selections, or wrestle-offs) will not be used.
-State tournament results will not be considered for National Dual Team selection, regardless of outcomes.
-The wrestler who wins the Qualifier in their weigh is the official representative for that weight on the National Dual Team. Placement in the qualifying event will determine all subsequent teams, including the second and third teams.
-Top 3 place winner in each weigh class will qualify for the NEUSAW Girls Heartland 1st-8th grade teams.
-All wrestlers that qualify for 1 of the 3 teams going to Heartland must wrestle at Districts and at the State tournament to keep your spot on the team. The placement at State does not change your qualifying spot but all NEUSAW Heartland qualifiers must wrestle and compete at Districts and State.
-The dual team is for 1st through 8th graders. Cannot be 16 years old. There will be 3 teams: Blue (1st team), Red (2nd team), and Purple (3rd team).
There is only one Division for this event. 1st - 8th Grade
