Call For Artists - Long Exposure Festival
Little Dada is happy to announce the Long Exposure Festival, an outdoor light festival taking place August 4th 2018 in Flemmingdon Park with the help of Toronto Arts Council! We are looking for artists and collaborators to fill the park with all kinds of glowing, blinking, or interactive art!

This festival showcasing interactive art, installation, and performance within a family friendly setting. Submissions must have a lighting element and be able to work in various weather conditions. Apart from that, let your imagination run wild!

There is some funding and honorariums available for collaborators, performers, and artists. You may propose an existing work. We have a limited number of funding opportunities (Up to 400$) for a new piece of art.


Some items we are interested in:
- Wearable technology (We can pair you with a performer)
- Performance based art (We will have an aerials rig. You may also apply as a performer and we will pair you with an artist)
- Flow and aerials artists comfortable with wearing technology
- Installation art
- LED based sculpture
- Glowing or black light work
- Long exposure photography
- Interactive art
- Neon

Little Dada is committed to diversifying the representation of artists in public arts installations. While all applicants are welcome, preference will be given to voices not often represented in these fields. We encourage people of colour, Aboriginal and First Nations folks, gender variant people, people with disability, and those with cultural, economic, and social backgrounds different from the traditionally presented Canadian settler perspective.
