    Guidelines

    • The show is open to all non-girl scouts and girl scouts in grades k-12. • Students may perform in only one solo act. • All acts must adhere to THREE minute time limit for solo acts, FIVE Minute time limit for groups of 3 or more. • All girls must return a completed Talent Show Participation Form by March 20, 2014. • Lyrics, costumes and performances should be appropriate for all audiences. Music and performances will be screened for appropriateness. Again, acts must be family friendly--no profanity, violence, or insensitive subject matter. They must also be safe. Acts that involve fire or in which the performers risk injury are prohibited. • Limited number of performance slots are available per venue. • All equipment for the performer's act must be provided by the performer. • If your act requires recorded accompanying music: o Please bring the CD labeled with the girl's name(s), song name, and artist\composer with only that selection on the CD. • It is your responsibility to get your music back after the show. • You will have a 10 minute grace period to check in at your call time. No acts later than 10 minutes will be allowed to perform. • If your act is not ready when called you will only have one other opportunity to perform. If you miss your second call you will not be able to perform. • NO changing rooms other than bathroom will be provided. • Family and Friends are encouraged to come ‘cheer’ you on. • Most of all – be creative and show off your true talent!
