Culture Connection: Exploring Arab Heritage
Come to the Morris Arboretum on Saturday, September 20, 2014 to listen, watch and discover highlights of Arab culture while you stroll the Arboretum’s gardens. Co-presented by Al-Bustan Seeds of Culture, the day’s program will include music by the Takht Ensemble, demonstrations and hands-on activities in traditional Arabic art, and tours highlighting trees in the Arboretum’s collection that originate from Arab countries.

Transportation and admission to the Arboretum will be free for anyone with a PennCard. Two complimentary buses will be waiting for students in front of the Penn Bookstore (36th and Walnut) from 10:15am- 10:30am, and they will depart at 10:30am. Students can expect to return to campus by 2:00pm.
