About the trip: This is a private property, invitation-only dinosaur fossil dig.
Not everyone will find a T-Rex tooth but certainly everyone who works will find fossil teeth. Also found here are Pachycephalosaur, Triceratops, Edmontosaraus, and various other raptor bones and teeth. The area is Upper Cretaceous (100 to 66 million years ago) and very prolific & extraordinary. Triceratop horns, frill fragments, horn buttons, etc. are common.
It is an all day drive to get there (~9 hours from SLC) so plan on an extra day up and back. It is very remote. No campers or staying overnight at the site.
