To help us set up new courses at Jan Juc, please enter your award preference/s and availability for the following courses:
Radio Operator - 2.5 hrs face to face. Encourage all Nipper parents using radios and for non-aquatic members holding ARTFA or SSV. (LSV Comms communication skills are required)
Resuscitation (blended delivery) - 1.5 hrs face to face. Age 12 yrs +
Advanced Resuscitation and First Aid (blended delivery) - 8.5 hrs face to face. Age 15 yrs +, no other prerequisites
IRB crew - 3 days face to face. Age 15 yrs minimum
Silver Medallion IRB Driver - 4 full days face to face. Age 17 yrs minimum, current Marine License and a season of IRB crewing
Side-by-side Vehicle Operator - 4 hrs face to face. Age 18 years minimum and current Driver's License. Required to drive SSV
Silver Medallion Patrol Captain (for all PCs, VPCs and Beach Leaders) - 2 days face to face. Age 18 yrs minimum and 2 years patrolling/water safety experience
Training Officer Certificate (TOC) - 2 days face to face. Age 17 yrs minimum (This award is required prior to becoming a Trainer)
Trainer, Assessor or Facilitator of any awards you
currently hold. Various prerequisites.
