Youth Bill of Rights Feedback Survey

We will have a RAFFLE GIVEAWAY for youth who fill out this survey!

The Multnomah Youth Commission (MYC) is the official youth policy body for the City of Portland and Multnomah County. In 2006, MYC worked alongside nearly 3,000 youth across the region to form the first ever youth bill of rights for our City and County - Our Bill of Rights: Children + Youth. It was also the first Youth Bill of Rights in the nation to be endorsed by two local government bodies. The Youth Bill of Rights reflects the values and aspirations that youth in the community held at the time.

Since it has been nearly 20 years since our Youth Bill of Rights was first created, we are updating it with the input of today's youth. We created this survey to get feedback on the current Youth Bill of Rights. Specifically what still resonates, what is missing for today's youth, and anything that should be changed. We will also be out in the community doing in-person engagements to get youth feedback over the next six months.

Your responses to this survey are voluntary and COMPLETELY CONFIDENTIAL. The data will only be reported in group form and never for an individual. Only authorized MYC researchers will have access to the raw data, which will be stored securely.

If you would like to enter the RAFFLE, please enter your contact information at the end of the survey.

Please help us shape the renewal of our local Youth Bill of Rights by completing this survey!

This survey should take about 5-15 minutes to complete, depending on how much you decide to write.
Optional questions can be left blank if you would prefer not to answer.
