Eurovision as a Space that Shaped LGBTQ+ Culture: Letters
My podcast, Eurovsion Song Context, has an upcoming episode about physical spaces that have shaped LGBTQ+ culture. I'll be talking to a special guest about it. It got me thinking, though about Eurovision as a space that shaped/s LGBTQ+ culture. I'm asking for memories from members of the LGBTQ+ community on this topic- either of being at ESC (or an ESC event) OR seeing it on television. Responses are anonymous but if you respond know that I may use them on air. All fields here are optional, but more information will help us organize the responses. Please share!

Which community/communities do you identify with?
Did your memory happen in a physical space (example: in person at the Eurovision Grand Final, ESC party), or a virtual one (e.g. TV)?
Clear selection
What's your memory? How did this change/shape you and/or the culture? How did you feel at the time? Etc, etc! (And thank you for sharing!)

How old (more or less) were you at the time?
What year (or decade) was it?
Any location data that will help give us context? (example, the country you're from, where you were, what social norms were for you at the time, etc, etc, etc.)
THANK YOU!
If this works, I'd like to make these responses public in shownotes for the podcast or on our Twitter feed!
