This Application must be submitted by
January 5, 2024. You must first receive approval from the teacher with whom you plan to intern (see question #8 below).
Applications are subject to final approval by Internship Advisors. Applicants that are approved will enter into a lottery system due to the limited number of internships available.
A lottery drawing will be held on February 2, 2024 at 2:20pm in the Heritage Room. All prospective interns are encouraged to attend.

The In-School Internship:
Student will intern with a teacher/mentor inside Huntington High School and will work with that teacher in the classroom. This is appropriate for students wishing to pursue a teaching career or those interested in a particular field of study in which a teacher/mentor possesses an expertise.
The Out-of-School Internship:
The student will intern outside the school in an area or field of interest. Internships might include working within a retail establishment, with a professional such as a doctor, architect, lawyer, in a non-profit organization, etc.
