Thanks Mom Give Life! Event-Day Volunteer Sign-Up Form 2018
Hello Volunteer!

Thank you for showing interest in becoming a volunteer for the Thanks Mom! Give Life 2018 Campaign. Please fill out the form below with your information and availability concerning shift times and training dates .

Event Dates:
Saturday May 5th, 2018  & Sunday May 6th, 2018

Location: Guildford Town Centre (Centre Court), Surrey, BC

Positions available (details below):
1) Education Coordinator
2) Operations Coordinator
3) Support Coordinator

NOTE: YOU WILL RECEIVE TRAINING FOR ALL 3 POSITIONS.
This means that you are more than welcome to volunteer for multiple positions to increase your experience throughout the event! The training  session will be approximately two hours long.

Robin, the Volunteer Manager, will be in touch with you once the application period closes to confirm your assigned shifts. Volunteer hours will be provided, if requested. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact info@thanksmom.org.

*EDUCATION/Recruitment COORDINATOR*

Purpose: To educate the public about stem cell donation and recruit walking traffic to sign up as potential donors. Must be comfortable speaking with others!

Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit potential stem cell donors by educating the public about the donation process and answering questions about donor registration
- Engage and attract the public in a professional, energetic and positive manner


*OPERATIONS/Swabbing COORDINATOR*

Purpose: To facilitate the swabbing process and ensure the registration form is filled-in correctly, as per established OneMatch standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying accuracy of health forms completed by applicants
- Preparing swab kits using established procedures
- Swabbing participants and providing education about being potential donors


*SUPPORT COORDINATOR*

Key Responsibilities:
Manage event set-up and clean-up
Prepare and distribute event swag for event attendees
Support fellow volunteers on an as needed basis
