If you have been looking to get your child exposed to the sport of tennis or if you have a child who has been playing for a few years, these classes will cover both. The beginner class teaches kids the basic fundamental skills and techniques. For kids with experience, the class provides an opportunity for more match play and strategy. The Marcus Lewis Tennis Extension Program is a non-profit that specializes in offering high-level tennis instruction through community programming. The Extension Program utilizes professional instructors and the most current methods to achieve the most effective results.Classes will start Wednesday, September 6 and run through October 16 (5 weeks - no classes over Columbus Day).

ADULTS:Marcus Lewis Tennis Extension Program teaches the beginner player proper technique and stroke production. It is also perfect for the player who has taken a few years off from the game and wants to get back in to it. Instructors offer patient instruction that can help you to reach your potential in this sport.Classes will start Saturday, September 9 and run through October 14th (5 weeks).All classes take place at THE MARCUS LEWIS TENNIS CENTER, 10 GRANITE RD. IN ACTON.
Saturdays:11-12 p.m. Adult Beginner $10512- 1 p.m. Adult Intermediate $105
Registration is done through Harvard Community Education. Spots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Class sizes are limited. A minimum of 4 students per class is required to run. Confirmation is sent by email directly from the Marcus Lewis Tennis Extension Program staff.
In case of rain, lessons will be made up at the end of the session. If no make up date is possible (rain/etc.), a refund will be issued for that class.
Registration is done ONLINE only.
PAYMENT: By check, payable to: Town of Harvard/Spectrum, delivered to Harvard Community Education, 39 Mass. Ave., Harvard (white house next to HES) or pay online through the Online Payment Center, use the Community Education, Spectrum Tennis option. The online option is an electronic check, the bank charges a 25 cent fee for each transaction. IF you choose to pay online, you MUST email a copy of your payment confirmation to: firstname.lastname@example.org (registration will not be processed without payment). If you pay online and the class is full, reimbursement will be processed, you will receive a check within 3-4 weeks.
Refund Policy: No refunds unless a class is cancelled due to low enrollment OR The course requested is already filled. No other refunds will be granted. In case of rain, lessons will be made up at the end of the session. If no make up date is possible (weather) a refund will be issued for that class at the end of the session.
