Terms and conditions.
By enrolling my child, we parents and guardians agree to the following terms and conditions. 1. Services Provided - Miss Bee’s Learning School offers private music tuition tailored to the learning needs of students and their families. 2. Tuition fees - All fees are due upfront prior to the commencement of the session; sessions will not commence if payment has not been received. Tuition fees are reviewed periodically, and families will be notified of any changes to fees two weeks in advance in writing. Tuition fees are not inclusive of grading costs or textbook purchases. 3. Session Scheduling - Sessions are scheduled on a weekly or fortnightly basis and within the school term. School holiday availability will be available upon request for additional fees. Families may request a preferred time; however, time slots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once allocated, the lesson time is reserved weekly or fortnightly reserved weekly or fortnightly. 4. Departure and Arrival arrangements – Students will only be released into the care of the enrolling parent of guardian or otherwise authorized person as outlined in the enrolment form. All changes to authorized persons for student collection must be placed in writing. Students are not permitted to leave independently without written consent from enrolling parent or guardian. If the person is unfamiliar to the teaching staff, government ID may be requested. All students must be signed out at the conclusion of the session and Miss Bee’s Learning School and staff are no longer responsible for students once they have been signed out even if they are still temporarily on the premises. Miss Bee’s Learning School staff may offer collection from local schools when requested for an additional fee when written permission is given by the enrolling parent or guardian which establishes a designated collection point and drop off point. Students must follow instructions, listening to all supervisors’ instructions. If student is unable to follow directions, suspension of this service will be immediate, including the tuition timeslot (you may be asked to reschedule to another time). While all reasonable care and supervision is provided, families acknowledge that walking and driving to and from school involves inherent risks. If a student is not present at the agreed collection point, the tutor will wait a reasonable period. The lesson and all fees paid may be forfeited if the student cannot be located. 5. Payment - Sessions may be paid Weekly, or fortnightly. A 5% discount will be applied for upfront payment of ten sessions. Payment methods include bank transfer or cash. Fees must be paid prior session is scheduled to commence, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Miss Bee’s Learning School reserves the right to cancel sessions, even if students have arrived if payment has not been received. 6. Cancellation Policy - A minimum of 24-hour’s notice prior to the scheduled session required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full. A request for a make-up lesson can be submitted in writing, however there is no guarantee as its subject to availability. 7. Missed Sessions - If a student does not attend a scheduled lesson and no notice is provided; the lesson will be forfeited – no refund will be issued nor make up session offered. 8. Punctuality - Sessions begin and finish at the scheduled times only. Late arrivals will not extend the lesson time. 9. Behaviour Expectations - Students are expected to: a) Participate respectfully and to the best of their ability b) Follow all teachers instructions c) Engage safely in all activities. If behaviour becomes unsafe or significantly disruptive, the tutor has the right to discontinue this session and will notify parent or guardian as soon as is practical. 10. Health and Safety - If a student is unwell, families are asked to reschedule the lesson where possible with as much notice as possible given to the teaching staff in writing, email or text. 11. Privacy - All personal information collected is kept confidential and used only for: a) lesson planning b) parent/guardian communication c) administration purposes. 12. Termination of Tutoring Services - Either the parent/guardian or Miss Bee’s Learning School may terminate tutoring with two weeks written notice. Miss Bee’s Learning School reserves the right to discontinue tutoring if: a) lesson fees are not paid b) behaviour is unsafe or inappropriate c) ongoing attendance or punctuality issues occur. 13. Agreement - By enrolling in tutoring services, parents and guardians confirm that they: have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and agree to the lesson structure, fees, and policies. *
