2025 Engler Launch! Application
The Engler Entrepreneurship Program presents Launch! - a program designed to jump-start School-Based Enterprises at selected Nebraska Schools with agriculture education programs.

This competitive program provides in-person training, one-on-one coaching, and significant funding for participating chapters. The program runs for one full school year (August - April).

If selected, a program will need to send a teacher and 4-6 students to each of the in-person events. These selected students will be expected to manage and operate the School-Based Enterprise.

Why should we accept your program this year? *
If accepted, what are your goals for starting a School-Based Enterprise with the Engler Launch! Program? *
A School-Based Enterprise is a real business planned, operated, and managed by students with direction from the Teacher. There are a few different models that a school-based enterprise can follow which determine the level of student/school ownership, amount of committed class time, and level of community involvement. Choosing a model will take place at the Kickoff Event.
In what ways would a School-Based Enterprise benefit your agriculture program? *

For example: A program with a greenhouse has an annual sale of plants to the public.  
What business ideas do you have for a school-based Enterprise? (if any) *
This may also include expanding or updating an existing business connected to your school. Any ideas are welcome, but we encourage selected teams to come to the kick-off event with open minds for other new ideas that may arise.

Operating a school based business will require significant support and approval from school administration. We expect participating programs to commit to building support and keeping school administration informed. As part of the program, we would like to include principals of accepted programs on important Launch! communication.
