The Marketing Manager role at Sapling is completely unique. We need an experienced digital marketer who wants to drive great marketing. We’ll provide the starting strategy- you need to drive on it, executing and making it better along the way.

We need to get s--t done. We’ll provide the budget and resources. You need to marshal that budget and resources to make ours, as well as our client's marketing strategy happen in a fast-moving environment. Instead of spending your time on proposals and pitches, you spend your time executing strategy, enacting change, and getting things done as you work to build the Sapling brand while doing it all within our core values of SHIFTS.

At Sapling, our agency relies on creating and maintaining valuable relationships. As a Marketing Manager, you will connect with employees and help contribute to a fun, positive work environment that facilitates creative ideas and inspires employees to meet aggressive goals.

Position Responsibilities
• With guidance from Sapling's leadership team, execute a long-term marketing strategy and roadmap that builds the agency’s brand and website, including channel mix, projects or campaigns, and overall priorities.
• Help guide a cross-functional digital marketing team comprised of SEO, PPC, Social, Content, Analytics, Design, and Development practitioners.
• Collaborate with our agency team to develop and execute content and website strategies that align with overall agency objectives.
• Review, analyze, and report on core agency KPIs
• Seek out new marketing opportunities through market research: conferences, client meetings, collaboration with sales, etc.
• Manage project priorities as needed.
• Set a standard of excellence in marketing initiatives through project planning, execution, and completion.
• Raise any roadblocks or concerns in a timely manner with appropriate team members when support services are not meeting expectations.

Position Requirements
• A minimum of 3 years of digital marketing experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing or business, related field, or equivalent experience
• Intermediate experience with HubSpot
• Intermediate experience with Google Analytics
• Intermediate experience in Paid Search, Organic Search, and Paid Social
• A proven track record of building and executing content plans and/or editorial calendars
• WordPress experience preferred
• Independent thinker with the ability to work with minimal direction or supervision

Account Executive
Sapling is the future of cannabis marketing. Our mission is to reduce stigma surrounding legal & medicinal cannabis usage through creative content marketing, and authentic client.

Our sales team is mostly inside high-velocity (and high average sales price) sales powered by a strong lead gen engine. Sales executives close multiple large deals per week. We have very little competition surrounding us, and plan to dominate our space & industry.

Pay Per Click Manager
As a paid search strategist, you will be able to apply your knowledge of paid search to collaborate with an experienced team of PPC strategists, designers, developers, SEO specialists, and display advertisers. Analyze real-time data to understand key metrics captured in house such as phone calls, conversion rates, and profitability at a granular level.

You’ll be responsible for building and optimizing paid search campaigns, testing new ad networks, and communicating performance to account stakeholders.

Our ideal candidate has an AdWords Advanced Search Certification, a Facebook Blueprint certification, and a strong technical background, with at least two years of experience managing PPC campaigns.

Requirements:

2+ years SEO experience;
1+ years client facing experience at an agency;
Microsoft Office Wizardry is an absolute must;
Unhealthy obsession with SEO experiments and case studies;

Have a solid understanding of how different marketing channel strategies work together, including paid search, social media, email marketing, etc ;
