Grant  Request - Clinton Township Educational Foundation
2023/2024

Dear Applicant:

This application will provide the information that the Foundation needs to make a decision regarding the possible funding of your project.

Applications will be reviewed on a competitive basis and a limited number of grants will be awarded.  Each project selected will be funded to begin immediately.  Grant funds should be expended before the end of the school year.  Each application will be evaluated by all trustees based on the following criteria:

1. Creativity – This proposal describes an innovative, exciting, and motivating project.
2. Relationship to the Foundation’s stated goals
3. On-Going Assessment – This project includes performance assessment measures that will yield data about student achievement of the stated objectives.
4. Technology – This project includes the use of available technology and provides opportunities for students to use these materials as learning and organizational tools.
5. Adaptability – This project can be adapted to other grade levels and/or subject areas.
6. Use of District Resources (either staff or community).
7. Guidelines for allocation of funds:
a. Fees may be utilized to bring in outside experts or artists but not to pay salaries or stipends to school personnel.
b. Fees may be utilized for equipment or materials but only if they provide the means to achieve the educational objectives stated in the application.
c. The Foundation is the only source of the funds.

Based on this review, the Foundation will take one of three actions: approve an application for funding, return the application with suggestions for resubmission or reject the application.

Grant funding is made possible by donations from community members and local businesses to the Clinton Township Foundation for Educational Excellence.

If you have any questions regarding the Grant Program or the application process, please contact the Foundation at CTEFNJ@gmail.com

Good luck.  We look forward to receiving your application.
Sincerely,
The Foundation Trustees
