Want to chat about game storytelling? (Dr. Greg Buchanan @Develop Brighton 2024)
At Develop Brighton 2024, I’m going to be spending some time talking to people about their games’ stories, whether they’ve even started creating their games or not.

These meetings are free, friendly chats and are suitable for the following (just indicate which best describes your situation in the below):

- individuals who want to create their own game some time but aren’t sure how to get going with the story/writing
- existing non-narrative devs who want to transition into narrative or learn narrative skills
- aspiring writers / narrative designers who want a portfolio piece of their own
- indies or studios who are considering a new game narrative or are having difficulty with their current project

In the chat we’ll say hi and I’ll give some advice / troubleshooting for whatever is blocking your progress (or, indeed, help set up your path to getting started). As I’ll likely reference some of my existing materials online, I’ll be giving anyone who wants it a free 3 month access to my Substack archive also.

Submit the following and I’ll be in touch soon with my calendar and any follow up questions. If you’re not sure about whether you’ll need to meet, feel free to still send a query and I’ll let you know if I think I can help. These meetings do not need to be for prospective work or for any kind of ongoing support; this is having fun chatting by the sea about interesting topics we are both hopefully passionate about!
