The ministries and outreach programs of St. Margaret’s are an important part of the make-up of our parish and our commitment to our faith. We are assessing the impact and effectiveness of the various ministries St. Margaret’s is engaged in to make sure we are using our time and resources wisely and that we are truly serving our parishioners, the church and our community.
The guideposts to evaluate the importance and vitality of our ministries are rooted in our mission statement:
“The people of St. Margaret’s are members of the Body of Christ.
Empowered by God, we will work for justice.
Healed by the love of Christ, we will seek to care for all people and God’s creation.
Forgiven through the power of the Holy Spirit, we will create a diverse and inclusive community, through worship, prayer and love of neighbor.
We give thanks for God’s many blessings and pledge to share our gifts.”
We also support the encouragement of our Bishop, Mariann Budde articulated in our Sunday parish forum and diocesan meetings. she asked us to place emphasis on growing our church and focusing our ministries to achieve those goals. Please keep these thoughts in mind while reading this feedback form and, where appropriate, relate how the ministry you are commenting related to these central goals of St. Margaret’s
We appreciate your time in providing feedback about ministries you are currently involved in, have been involved in or would like to become involved in. Please answer as much as you can and answer the Yes / No questions and number ratings. Results of this survey will be summarized to provide clergy, vestry and ministry leaders with guidance on how we might improve the focus and effectiveness of our work. Response to this survey is required of all Ministry and service or outreach project leaders, and optional but appreciated from all who participate in or are interested in becoming involved in the work of St. Margaret’s.
Thank you for your time.
