Ickenham Festival Open Gardens 2018
Dear Fellow Gardeners,

From my seedling of an idea for Ickenham Festival 2002, a handful of Open Gardens has grown to a total of 21 gardens opening during Ickenham Festival 2016. We are now making plans (and producing the programme) and want to see even more gardens open this year during Ickenham Festival week, which runs from Saturday 9th Sunday to 17th June with Festival Day on Saturday 16th June.

As any of you that have enjoyed the scheme during previous Festivals will know, opening a garden is a relaxed informal affair with many local residents visiting, enjoying the ambience, maybe having a cup of tea and donating to the host’s chosen charity. In fact, over the years I know that many thousands of pounds have been collected and donated to very worthwhile causes.

Please can we ask you to consider opening your garden or asking and helping a friend to open their garden and getting the details back to me by Saturday 7th April for inclusion in the Festival programme.

If anyone is unsure about the process or looking for reassurance and wishes to discuss the scheme with me, please feel free to phone or email me at the contact details at the bottom of this form.

Thank you in advance for your support,

Yours Sincerely,

David Edington
Ickenham Festival Team Chair.
