Socrates in the Canary Islands

We are thinking of organising the Socrates Open Space in the Canary Islands. With a similar format to Socrates in Germany and the UK. But we would like to know how many people are interested. Is it worth running another Socrates in Europe?

The weather in the Canaries is nice the whole year, perfect for the beach

Should the venue be by the beach, or should it be away from everything?

We know some people would bring the family for holidays in which case the best choice would be by the beach

Isolated in the mountains (no public transport to get there - we can hire micro-buses)
