Guidelines
Inspirational Photography.

We prefer colour images with a mix of landscape and portrait shots. We use a portrait image for the lead image of an article, and these are preferred on social media, so include your very best shots.

Our most popular weddings highlight the decor, fashion, flowers, stationery, signs and any other details the couple has used to personalise their day. Our readers love unique details and of course, all the emotions a wedding brings, so be sure to include those. 

Diversity.

With Rock My Wedding's commitment to diversity and inclusion, we encourage submissions that embrace and represent everyone. Our goal is for everyone who engages with Rock My Wedding to feel included. Representation is everything.

Budget.

Our readers want to see weddings that represent a wide variety of budgets. We want simplicity, extravagance, and everything in between. Whether the wedding cost £100 or £100,000, we would like to see it.

Approval Criteria.

A submission must meet at least two out of three of the following criteria to be considered for publication:

  1. You are a Rock My Wedding Recommended supplier. It is important to us that we support those businesses that support us. Find out more about the benefits of becoming a Rock My Wedding Recommended supplier here or a Recommended venue here. 
  2. Your wedding or editorial shoot is diverse. As outlined above we are committed to representation and inclusivity. 
  3. The wedding or shoot has a very strong unique look and feel, or story. What makes the wedding/shoot stand out? What about it will inspire the hundreds of thousands of couples that visit our pages? Does this differ from existing content or content we already have scheduled? Our audience loves variety.

Supporting Information.

In the event your real wedding submission is successful, we will ask your couple to fill out our online Real Wedding Questionnaire Google Form. When you receive your approval email, instructions on how to do this will be included.

In the case of an editorial shoot, we will need details of the location, fashion & flowers, inspiration & decor and any other unique elements about the shoot. We will also need a comprehensive list of all of the suppliers involved to ensure they are credited accordingly.

Rock My Wedding's decision is final.

Rock My Wedding Terms Of Use
Exclusivity Prior to Publication:
We mandate complete exclusivity*. Prior to their debut on Rock My Wedding, images or content from your submission must not appear elsewhere. We prioritise offering our audience fresh and original content, and it's in your best interest to uphold this to achieve optimal engagement.

Exclusivity Post Publication:
Once your content is published on Rock My Wedding, we kindly request a waiting period of at least six weeks before featuring the same content on any other platform or medium*.
Terms & Conditions:
  1. Content Rights and Ownership: It is imperative that you only submit images and content for which you hold the copyright or have the appropriate rights to share for publication. Submitting content without possessing the requisite rights may expose you to legal consequences. It is solely your responsibility to confirm that you possess the necessary permissions for Rock My Wedding to showcase the content you provide.
  2. Acknowledgement of Rights: By sharing content with Rock My Wedding, you attest that you have obtained the necessary rights to allow our platform to display said content. Furthermore, you grant us the authorisation to present your content across all our existing and prospective media channels. This includes, but isn't restricted to, our primary website and various social media handles.
  3. Image Alterations: We hold the discretion to modify, primarily through cropping, images to align with the presentation standards of our website and social media platforms.
  4. Credits: We are committed to accurately crediting contributors whenever we exhibit imagery on our platforms. However, occasional oversights may occur. If you identify an omission or inaccuracy in crediting, please reach out to us promptly. We will endeavour to rectify any errors as soon as feasible.
  5. Storage and Future Use: By submitting to Rock My Wedding, you grant us the perpetual right to retain your images indefinitely. They may be integrated into complimentary articles or posts on our website and social media platforms. Rest assured, your contribution will consistently be acknowledged.
