Holocaust Museum Trip Spring 2026 (JST Program)


If any of the first 45 registrants do not pay their deposit, their seats will go to students on the waitlist.

We are glad for your interest in the Holocaust Museum Trip on Saturday, February 1! Below are details and reminders:
  • There is a $50 deposit required to reserve a spot on the bus. You must pay this deposit by January 20, 2025 or you will lose your spot on the bus. If you attend the trip, we will return your $50. Dinner will be on your own in DC.
  •  Payment can be made by cash to Jake Nabel (322 Weaver Building, jnabel@psu.edu) or by Venmo to @Jake-Nabel (please include your full name and a note that this is for the Jewish Studies Holocaust Museum Trip). IMPORTANT: if paying by Venmo, please DO NOT mark the transaction as a "business" payment. Doing so will cause Venmo to take a percentage of the transaction for its own profit, which means that you still will not have paid the full $50. 
  • Please bring small bags on the trip, if possible. Any larger bags will need to be checked in the museum's coat check.
  • No food is permitted inside the museum. 
Departure from State College: 
7am from West Parking Deck / YAS, West Deck, White Course Dr, State
College, PA 16801, USA:

One rest stop for lunch/bathroom about halfway through trip.

Time at Holocaust Museum: 
11:30am to approx. 3:30pm (stay as long as you'd like)

Free time in DC (be sure to eat dinner before departure - ask faculty for recommendations): 
3:30pm to 6:30pm (ask faculty for dinner recommendations)

Departure from DC:
7pm from the Holocaust Museum (please meet at 6:40pm at the entrance to the museum for check-in and group photo)

PLEASE NOTE: If you do not arrive at the bus before 7am, we may leave without you. If you do not arrive back at the bus by 7pm in DC, we may leave without you
