Our names are Neil Griffiths and Dr. Anat Bardi (Department of Psychology, Royal Holloway, University of London). We are conducting this research as part of a wider programme to better understand the factors affecting decision making in organizations in order to improve decision making in organizations. The study is conducted online. This part of the research is confined to birth order effects on our values. It involves completing a questionnaire on what is important to you in your life and providing some information relating to your birth order, age and gender. This should take approximately 10 minutes to complete. Nobody except for the above named researchers will be allowed to see your answers and in the study you will be known only by number. So the information is completely confidential and only broad trends of results will be reported.
Your participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time without giving a reason. You can decide not to answer any question that you prefer not to. However, this would amount to withdrawal, as, in this phase of the research, there are no other decision-making questions to answer and collect data from.
You are welcome to print a copy of this page for your reference. Please feel free to email us any questions before you complete the consent form provided below.
