Retreat Information

  Our retreat is designed to help you escape the stresses of everyday life and connect with your inner self through meditation practice. Pai is a beautiful town located in the mountains of northern Thailand, providing the perfect backdrop for relaxation and introspection.

Throughout your retreat, you'll have the chance to join guided meditation sessions led by experienced teaching monks with over 10 years of expertise. Our skilled instructors will expertly guide you through each session, supporting you in deepening your practice and discovering inner-peace.

In addition to meditation, we offer yoga stretching classes and opportunities to explore the beautiful nature of Pai . You will also have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals and form meaningful connections with your fellow retreat participants.

Moreover, we offer hot spring mineral water pools that provide a range of temperatures, including hot, warm, and cold, allowing participants to unwind and relax during the break.

Our accommodation options include private rooms or shared rooms with 1 roommate who coming together which designed with comfort and simplicity in mind. Each room comes with an en-suite bathroom and shower for your convenience. We provide all the necessary amenities, including bedding, towels, shampoo, shower cream and hair dryer.

Whether you're new to meditation or an experienced practitioner, our retreat offers a peaceful and transformative experience that will leave you feeling refreshed and recharged.

Each day ,the program will have 4 sessions : early morning, late morning, afternoon and evening that have listening to the wisdom and practicing together.

You will be provided with 2 meals a day (breakfast and lunch) and refreshments in the evening time .This type of eating helps support your meditation practice and ability to sleep better and wake up feeling refreshed.

We kindly ask you to adhere to certain guidelines. Refraining from the consumption of alcohol or any intoxicants during the retreat is one of these guidelines, and we appreciate your cooperation in staying within the facility throughout the course.

In addition, please be aware that our retreat is not equipped to provide assistance for individuals experiencing symptoms related to psychological issues or those diagnosed with mental illness. Furthermore, it's important to acknowledge that the effects of meditation can vary from person to person. If you have any uncertainties, we strongly recommend consulting with a medical professional before considering registration for the retreat.

  We offer guided meditation sessions led by teaching monks with over 10 years of experience. We encourage you to approach our path with an open mind, even if you have experience with other methods or practices, to receive the greatest benefit and make the most of your valuable time with us.

7 Days Meditation Retreat Schedule
What to bring

  1. Meditation cushion or yoga mat: You may wish to bring your own meditation cushion or yoga mat, although we do provide some at the retreat center.
  2. Water bottle: It's important to stay hydrated during your meditation practice, so please bring a reusable water bottle to refill throughout the day.
  3. Insect repellent: As we are surrounded by nature, mosquitoes and other insects can be present, so please bring insect repellent to keep them at bay.
  4. Sunscreen and hat: The sun can be strong in Pai, so please bring sunscreen and a hat to protect yourself during outdoor activities.
  5. Light jacket or shawl: The temperature can drop in the evenings, so please bring a light jacket or shawl to keep warm.
  6. Personal toiletries: Please bring your own personal toiletries, including toothbrush, toothpaste and any other items that you require.
  7. Swimsuit or appropriate clothing: For soaking in the hot spring, please bring a swimsuit or appropriate clothing.
  8. Any necessary medications: Please bring any necessary medications and inform the retreat staff of any medical conditions.

!! Don't forget to bring an umbrella or raincoat, as sudden rain showers can occur in rainy, from May to hi October .

!!  Warm clothing and their accessories such as jackets, sweaters. Don't forget to bring a hat, gloves, and scarf to protect your head, hands, and neck from the cold in winter, from November to February .
What we offer at the retreat

  1.    White Clothes during the retreat: Comfortable white attire suitable for meditation practices.You don't need to bring your own white clothes!!!

   2.    Towel: Fresh towels for your personal use during the retreat.

   3.    Bottle of Water: A reusable water bottle to keep you hydrated throughout your stay.

   4.    Blanket: Cozy blankets to keep you warm, especially during the cooler evenings.

   5.    Hair Dryer: A hair dryer for your convenience.


Cost
    To cover the expenses of food, utilities, accommodations, other service costs, and special requirements for the inaugural course. The cost is 6,000 THB for a 5-day and 8,400 THB for a 7-day per person from June to September. From October to February, the cost is 8,000 THB for a 5-day and 12,000 THB for a  7-day per person. This price is valid until February 2025.   

     To support the costs of providing delicious meals, comfortable accommodations, essential utilities, and other services, as well as any special arrangements for our course, we’ve carefully set the program fee. This helps ensure the sustainability of our offerings while accounting for annual inflation for 2025-2028.

Transportation Options

If you need public transportation to reach us, we suggest taking the van, which is both affordable and popular. However, it's crucial to reserve your ticket in advance as they often sell out quickly. You can book your ticket from Chiang Mai Arcade bus terminal to Pai by following this link: https://premprachatransports.com/welcome/. When buying your ticket, inform the ticket counter and driver that you need to get off at the Pai bus terminal. Additionally, select the round trip option as shown below to ensure timely arrival.
