Safe Tennessee Project Youth Advocacy Board
We are working to build a dedicated team of young people who want to take a stand against gun violence in our state.  From lobbying, to planning direct actions, from learning about gun policy, to organizing groups at their individual schools, there many ways for young people to get involved. We are in the early stages of building a youth action board for these passionate young members of our communities.  We will be looking both for students who want to serve in leadership roles as well as those who just want to get involved and learn more about the issue.  There will be opportunities for kids who want to write, who want to create memes and graphics, who want to participate in and create videos, who want to use social media to message and communicate, and more.  We will also need some adults to help, especially those who are educators, guidance counselors, and parents who want to get involved with encouraging these youth advocates.

*PLEASE NOTE* This is a work in progress!  This is all moving very fast, but that's OK! There is momentum - with adults but especially with young people - and we want to be sure these passionate young leaders are being given a voice and learning how to use it most effectively.
