Data Storytelling Workbook - submit your activities!

Our Data Storytelling Workbook combines practical activities, spotlight interviews and insights from the latest research to help people tell better data stories for civic engagement.

To showcase the innovative teaching and training work being done in data storytelling, we are putting this call out for your favourite activities. Featured activities will appear in the print copy of the workbook, with additional activities available online. All workbook activities will be attributed to their author(s) and you will receive a free copy of the workbook if you are selected to appear in the print edition.

About the Workbook

The first of its kind, this project brings together inspiring work from across data journalism, graphic design, computer science and geography, taking readers on a journey through the ins and outs of the data storytelling process. We would love for you to come along on the adventure!

The workbook is curated by Anna Feigenbaum with the Bournemouth University Civic Media Hub, research and design assistant Aria Alamahodaei, and Minute Works graphic design studio..
