Grateful Harvest Community Garden is a collaboration between First Presbyterian Church, Pottstown and Trellis for Tomorrow. Our mission is to provide a welcoming place where people can come together to learn gardening skills and grow their own fresh food. Some of the garden is designated as “Food For All” in which volunteers care for the garden and the produce grown is donated to local food banks.
In addition, fifteen of the garden beds, complete with drip tape irrigation, will be available to rent. Garden rental for the 2026 growing season will be $50 per bed. All gardeners will be asked to sign a contract detailing the rules and expectations for garden membership.
Here are the highlights - All community gardeners will:
- Adhere to organic growing standards
- Agree to maintain their plot throughout the season
- Agree to volunteer with the “Food for All” section of the garden
- Attend informational meetings
- Grow only approved crops (nothing poisonous, invasive or illegal)
