Scholarship Application // 200-hr YTT Mind. Body. Joy.
IMPORTANT: Before you submit this application, please make sure you have applied to the 200-hour program. We will only consider applications from people who have been accepted into the program:
We're pleased to partner with our venue, Vida Asana, to offer a needs-based scholarship that supports the accessibility, affordability and representation of the yoga community. The scholarship is for a person or persons who due to cost, stigmatization, marginalization and/or oppression would otherwise not be able to participate in our yoga teacher training program.
Up to $3500 (US) towards the cost of tuition is available as either a full or partial scholarship. Please note that the scholarship has no cash value, is non-transferable, and is only for the YTT in Costa Rica, November 21-December 12, 2020. Submit your application before December 1, 2019 to be considered for a scholarship. We will notify all applicants of the outcome of their application in January 2020.
What kind of scholarship are you applying for?
Full scholarship (US$3500) includes tuition, meals, and accommodation in a shared room for the 21-day program. Partial scholarships are for any amount between US$500-$3000.
Full scholarship (US$3500)
If you are applying for a PARTIAL scholarship, please specify the amount you are requesting.
Consider what you can afford to pay for the training. For example, if you want to attend the training but can only afford a $2000 course, then you would apply for a $1500 scholarship (based on shared accommodation rate of $3500). Partial scholarships allow us to offer financial support to multiple students.
