It takes a village to make a Cow Hunt. We need over 400 volunteer-hours over the weekend, across a whole variety of roles from washing up to serving cakes, setting up marquees to clearing tables. All the hard work is worth it - last year we raised over £15,000 which directly benefits our school.
The event is a lot of fun but we really do need everyone to give us much time as they can to continue to run it successfully. This year we are trialling a new set-up: tell us when you can help, and what jobs you do and don't want to do, and we will aim to match you. We don't expect people to work all weekend: we know you will want to enjoy the event with your families and friends. It really works well when groups of friends co-ordinate to share the load but there really is a job for everyone.
Please give as much time as you can. You can commit to specific activities, or make yourself available generally to be assigned something on a day. If you can’t help on the weekend itself, we always need help with set-up and clear-up on the Friday and Monday.
