Leading Business and Operations Teams Excellence in Practice Application Form September 2025

Leadership roles within the business operations of a Multi Academy Trust and schools are multifaceted and complex. Leading teams, often across multiple sites, building and maintaining effective relationships with school leaders, stakeholders and suppliers and securing compliance and financial efficiency are critical to the success of any organisation. The ‘Leading Business & Operations Teams - Excellence in Practice’ experience, designed in conjunction with CIPS Procurement Excellence Program experts for business leaders who are responsible for leading teams and policy. Working in the 'business of education' often across multiple sites or stake holders, requires an increased level of communication skills to influence change. Although the business leadership functions vary, there are consistent key themes, competencies and capabilities needed to deliver excellence in specific or muti disciplinary areas of expert responsibility. Join us to network with peers, visit other settings and share your experiences.

Target Audience: The experience is suitable for those responsible for leading a team/teams of people including leaders of Business, Estates, Finance, Governance, HR, Communications and Marketing, Commercial (Procurement) IT, Administration, Data,  Management, HR & Operations and more

Cost: Fully funded to subscribing schools/MATS or £450 per delegate from non subscribing schools/MATS
