Day Hike to Vogel, Nov. 6, 2021
All Scouts and their families are invited to a five-mile hike at Vogel State Park (Blairsville, GA) on Saturday, November 6.

We’ll stop along the hike and cook our own lunch – meeting some merit badge requirements.

Meet at the Vogel State Park parking lot (exact location to be sent soon) at 9 am and expect to head back at dinner time.  A sign-up sheet has now been created, so anyone interested should go ahead and fill out the form linked below.

A sign-up genius will be sent for all to sign-up to help with the food/fire items.

Additionally, we plan to schedule some skills practice sessions before the hike (schedule details to be determined). These sessions will be during October, and help the Scouts be well prepared to earn multiple Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class requirements during hike.
