Thank you so much for your interest in fostering dogs from Almost Home Dog Rescue.  Rescued dogs may come from tough situations where they may have been neglected, abused, and/or generally lacked proper medical care.  They will require a trip to our vet,  as well as patience and training to prepare them for their permanent homes.  On occasion, we may also ask that you bring your foster dog to an adoption event.  It is so rewarding to know that you have helped to transition them into loving forever homes.  Remember that we are always here to help you so reach out to us at any time.  Please INITIAL to indicate that you have read and acknowledge your role as a foster.

Please note your current veterinarian (and/or if applicable previous vets within the last 10 years with most current first) with phone number(s).  IMPORTANT-please CONTACT ALL VETS to give them permission to speak to us when we call.  This will expedite your application or may even result in denial of application.  This information must be included whether you are simply fostering or hoping to adopt at some point in the future.
