Mentees will be expected to be an active participant in their learning and development, share their goals and expectations with their mentors, have trust and confidence in their mentor-mentee relationship, and provide feedback on the effectiveness of the mentoring program. *

Mentors and mentees will have the freedom to determine a meeting schedule that works best for them (i.e., once a week, twice a month, as needed, etc). They will also have the freedom to determine the method of communication that works best for them (i.e., face-to-face, video conference, text / email, etc). *

The goals of the mentoring program are as follows. 1: Assist incoming first year CEE students with the transition to the CEE program. 2: Assist incoming first year CEE students with the transition to college in general. 3: Develop and enhance social connections among first and second year students. 4: Communicate and provide access to the many benefits and opportunities associated with ASCE membership. Please note that this is not a tutoring program. *
