Baildon Methodist Church Scout Data-Capture Form
You are receiving this form because you have expressed an interest in your child being offered a place in Scouting.

Baildon Methodist Church has successfully sought and found a team of leaders to take on a new Group within Baildon.

Please use this form to confirm your interest in a place with Baildon Methodist Church Scout Group for your child.

Notes:
1. The age range for Beavers is from 6 to 8, Cubs 8 to 10.5 and Scouts 10.5 to 14.
2. There is a limit on numbers in each school year group.
3. We are a voluntary organisation and a charity and within the policies of The Scout Association (see http://scouts.org.uk/about-us/key-policies/) have complete discretion over which children we admit. Once a child is 'invested' as a member we plan for them to be able to progress through succeeding sections.
4. We generally give priority in the following order: leaders' children, existing members moving into the village, children whose parents can offer to help regularly (i.e. more than the customary parents' rota), siblings of existing members, maintaining a balanced colony, time on the waiting list.
5. If your child has additional needs please get in touch to discuss these at an early stage.

Will you be able to join a parents' rota? * This involves helping at approximately one meeting each term. If you cannot make your "duty'' you need to be able to arrange a stand-in. *
Does your child have any additional needs? Please describe and give details of additional support your child requires. *
Your answer
Might you be able to offer additional help?Scouting is delivered by trained volunteers. Would you be interested in finding out what is involved? If you are not able to make a regular commitment as a leader, perhaps you have a special interest or hobby that you could share? Could you be an instructor or assessor for badge work or perhaps you could help with the organisation 'behind the scenes'? *
