The Roots Initiative (TRI) isn’t just another youth program — it’s a movement designed to guide students from self-discovery to real-world impact. Our leadership pipeline provides an intentional, structured path that begins with the Summer Liberation Lab.

TRI’s Summer Liberation Lab is a high-energy, hands-on bootcamp where students build community, strengthen social skills, and develop leadership capacity. Through engaging activities and collaborative learning experiences, students sharpen their critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills while actively contributing to their communities. This is where they begin to recognize and tap into their power for the first time.
