Create a display that illustrates your work, meet attendees and inspire others!
Held in the Exhibit Hall at the Minneapolis Convention Center, Thursday, April 12, from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. as well as on Friday, April 13, from 12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., with each showcase being presented one of the two days, the showcase is an excellent opportunity to highlight your quality project. Showcases will be set up as table top displays on a 6-foot table. Students are encouraged to staff their showcase. Neither electricity hook ups nor internet connections are available in the showcase.
Strong showcases should show ties to curriculum, and include reflection components, youth voice and community partnerships. The showcase should effectively describe the impact the program has on its community and how the initiative is unique and replicable for conference attendees.
Presenters are able to apply for both a workshop and a showcase. All presenters are expected to register for the conference and will be offered the early-bird rate until the full conference rate applies.
• Each display area must be staffed. We encourage youth participation in this role.
• Each project will receive a six-foot table as a display. Consider sharing photos, lesson plans, rubrics, reflection activities, or other artifacts from your experiences.
• There are no electrical or internet connections available. Battery-powered displays are permitted.
