The BAVP Campaign Advisory Board Interest Form
The Campaign Advisory Board (CAB) will inform the agenda and goals of the Brownsville Anti-Violence Project (BAVP). This includes presenting and executing idea for community engagement and mobilization. The Campaign Advisory Board will also support Youth Advisoy Board projects and initiatives. Each board member will serve for one program year of the Brownsville Anti-Violence Project's Bryne Grant.

Who is eligible to become a member of the CAB?
Any adult 25+ who is a stakeholder in Brownsville (11212, 11233) and has demonstrated a dedication to ending violence in Brownsville.  3+ years of community organizing, mobilizing and engagement of Brownsville residents is a plus.

What is the mission of the CAB?
The mission of the CAB is to support and distribute a message and/or service that seeks to cure violence in Brownsville, Brooklyn.

How much time does a CAB member commit to BAVP?
Board members will commit to a minimum of 1 monthly advisory board meeting. Board members who volunteer for events may be asked to convene for shorter more frequent meetings when planning for large community engagement and mobilization events.

Where does the CAB convene?
Generally, the CAB will convene at 444 Thomas S. Boyland St. However, board members may suggest other meeting places of civic importance that are helpful for furthering the CAB agenda.
