The Capital Area Rural Transportation System (CARTS) currently has available for comm unity comment a draft of a Transportation Development Plan (TDP) which assess and provides recommended transit services for the rural areas of Bastrop, Burnet, Blanco, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson counties. This is your opportunity to provide your comments on the draft TDP. Please take a few minutes to provide comments in the following sections. Though we will accept comments at any time, we request your comments on the draft TDP by July 14th as the CARTS Board of Directors will be considering the adoption of the TDP at their July 27th meeting. Individual survey responses will be kept confidential.
The TDP team identified a proposed future vision consisting of four items: ·
Increase CARTS, on-demand service to more cities
Implement Express Bus service to connect more cities
Use on-demand technology for Country Bus service to provide same-day service
Increase the frequency of regional Interurban Coach services, including connecting to San Antonio
