These events are managed and organized by Downtown Joplin Alliance. We are a 501c3 non-profit working to better our community.

Third Thursday is a monthly event that runs from March to October with two evening time slots available at each event. Please note that Third Thursday is not a paid performance.
The Empire Market is a weekly event that occurs every Saturday, year round, with a morning performance and an afternoon performance available. A nominal payment is available courtesy of a grant from Missouri Arts Council.
Keep in mind that both events are family friendly, so we ask for samples of previous performances to ensure that all music performed will align with that environment. Thank you for your interest in performing!
